Keep on with the force
Homage to Michael Jackson
Moon people
fly on samara wings.
The day the drums died
I lay on the ground
and I listened,
hoping to retrieve a chorus
from corners, address
the need to carry on.
At the risk of
sparking a riot, the dancer
snaps fingers—
and it's delight;
dressed like moon critters
we walk on air.
Steps have been hit,
few greater than what we do
in this crater.

Liked the poem. First time I've visited... Please feel free to stop by my page. By the way my brother and MJ share the same day. :0)
Geoffrey,
I'm still huddled under the table, waiting for the bombs to fall.
Aminah,
Thank you. What a prolific writer you are...
