FORGIVE ME
(by Teboho Mahapa)
Darling, really I did beset you,
Honey, really I did suppress you,
Love, really I did dignify you,
Angel, really I did depress you.
By going out with other women,
Spending time with other women,
Forgetting that you are a woman too,
Who needs love and satisfaction.
Here I am honey,
Kneeling before you, love
With hot burning tears in my eyes,
Asking you to forgive me.
I know my mistakes love,
That I left you and children,
With no food and clothes,
But please forgive me.
I am afraid to tell you that,
I satisfied other women,
Forgetting that you need my love too,
But please forgive me.
I protected other men's children,
Whereas mine suffered a lot,
Having no place to sleep,
Please honey, forgive me.
The woman I lived with,
Fired me like a dog,
When I lost my job,
Please love, forgive me.
I am now without money,
I have no place to sleep,
I am dying of starvation,
Please forgive me.
Please ignore my dirty clothes,
Please don't judge my mistakes,
Forget all that I did to you,
Please forgive me.
I am a person like others,
Having mistakes and weakness,
And no one is perfect in the world,
Please forgive me.
Darling I know you will forgive me,
Because you are a holy Christian,
You ll do what the Bible say,
"Forgive to be forgiven."

true repentance,, something many of us live with and expressed here in a most brilliant form.....
Thanks, pal, on behalf of Teboho.
Not likely.
Being Christian doesn't mean a pushover.
Being a Christian doesn't mean being a pushover, no. Right again, Brian.
